Prestige Paints' high-end 100% acrylic exterior latex paint and primer in one is designed for use on a variety of exterior surfaces, including properly prepared wood, masonry, cement board siding, vinyl*, aluminum, and factory-primed siding. (Note: When painting vinyl siding, it is crucial not to use a color darker than the original siding, as this may cause the siding to warp.)

Surface Preparation: Before application, it is essential to remove dirt, mildew, grease, wax, soap residue, and any loose or peeling paint. Glossy areas must be dulled by sanding. All bare, new wood and factory-primed wood must be primed with an oil-based primer, while masonry surfaces, including cementitious siding, require a latex primer.

Application: Stir or mix the paint thoroughly before use, and ensure color uniformity by intermixing all containers. Apply the paint using a high-quality brush, roller, or pad painter. If necessary, thin the paint sparingly with water for spraying, but do not overspread. The temperature must be above 50°F (10°C) for proper application. The average coverage is 400 square feet (37 square meters) per gallon (3.78 L). For optimal performance, apply two coats of paint on new surfaces after priming. This product is not intended for indoor use.

Dry Time: The paint dries in 1 to 2 hours, but it is recommended to allow it to dry overnight before applying additional coats. Low temperature or high humidity may extend the drying time.

Cleanup: Clean up with warm water and soap.

Finish: A semi-gloss finish is more reflective than satin but less shiny than gloss. This type of finish provides walls with a shiny appearance, brightening the wall's look. Off-whites and pale shades of lighter colors are enhanced by the glossy effect, making them appear more vibrant. Semi-gloss finishes are ideal for high-humidity areas and are the easiest to clean with light scrubbing or wiping. However, the downside is that they tend to highlight wall imperfections more than other finishes.
